Welcome to the Charles City County Department of Fire and Emergency Services website. Our mission is to provide high quality emergency and non-emergency services to the residents and visitors to Charles City County in a professional and safe manner. By working efficiently against injury, loss of life and/or property damage from all hazards to include fire, medical and other natural disasters. We have been serving the citizens of this great County since 2019. As the County’s first Director of Fire, my hope is that, as you browse through our site, you find the information contained within each section both informative and possibly lifesaving as well. As you can see by the attached menu, we handle a myriad of duties and our personnel are constantly training and learning new skills to continue to keep our citizens safe.
