Important Closure Dates

The Treasurer's office will be closing on Friday, December 22nd at 12:00pm, and will be closed on Monday, December 25th and Tuesday, December 26th for the holiday. We will also be closed to the public on Wednesday, December 27th through Friday, December 29th for our Turnover Audit. We will re-open on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024.   

Mission Statement

The Office of Treasurer’s mission is to serve you by delivering an efficient, courteous, confidential and equitable revenue system. The Treasurer goal is to ensure that your rights are protected in all collections procedures so that you may have the highest confidence in the integrity’ of the Treasurer Office. You will be treated with dignity and respect by my staff. You will receive prompt, courteous, and accurate response to questions and requests for assistance and information. 

Tax Collection

The Treasurer collects real estate(due 12/5 & 6/5) and personal property taxes(due 12/5), as well as, water and sewer bill payments, and revenue from the State and Federal Government. This office also sells dog licenses and issues landfill decals for your vehicles.

Tax Relief

Elderly and handicapped homeowners may be eligible for real estate tax relief. If you think you may qualify, please contact the Commissioner of the Revenue.

  • Credit Card (Only Visa and Mastercard are accepted in office, and there is a convenience fee)
  • Money Order

Drop Box

You may use the payment drop box (Silver) located in the Government  Administration building parking lot for check or money order payments. No cash, please. When paying by mail, at the office or drop box, please provide the office portion of the tax statement with your payment. If you pay by mail or drop box and would like a receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Credit Card Online

To pay by credit card over the internet, simply visit the Official Payments website (now called ACI Payments, INC) and go to the Local Payment Center link or you may pay by credit card over the telephone, by simply calling Official Payments Corporation at 833-EZ-TO-PAY (833-398-6729). 

With either method, you will need to use Jurisdiction Code 1081. You will be notified of the convenience fee that will be charged based on the amount that you are paying.
