Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

The Charles City County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a community based volunteer team trained in disaster preparedness and emergency response.

CERT members undergo a training program that provides skills needed for general preparedness, fire safety, medical response, search and rescue and terrorism awareness.

CERT members are trained to support the area's first responders.
