Board of Equalization

Purpose

The Board of  Equalization is a government body or agency responsible for hearing appeals from local citizens concerning property taxes.  

Mission:  To serve the public through fair, effective, and efficient administration of the sales and use taxes, real estate taxes,  insurance taxes, excise taxes, and various other taxes and fees.
